We only use environmentally friendly cleaning products. Some of the products we use include: Seventh Generation, Nature’s Ultimate Orange Clean, Nature Clean, Vinegar, and Baking Soda. The products that we choose to use in your home or office depend on your specific needs. Some of the other products and tools PGC uses include:
- Fresh smelling essential oil cleaning products which sanitize and emit an appealing and uplifting scent throughout your home.
- Vegetable-based and non petroleum-based cleaners—this helps preserve oil, one of earth’s most precious natural resources; and leaves no residue on surfaces.
- Laundry detergent that’s free of optical brighteners—these fluorescent chemicals are not biodegradable.
- Phosphate free cleaners—this helps preserve aquatic life in our lakes, rivers, ponds, and oceans.
- Washable rags, some created from pre-loved clothing to further our goal of reducing our carbon footprint! We use no paper products within our methods.

Things we do not clean
We value and respect our employees’ health and safety above all and they are the faces and voices of PGC out in the world. So naturally we would never put them in a situation deemed unhealthy, hazardous or uncomfortable.
- Cat litter boxes or animal feces
- Homes that the customer is actively smoking in while the job is being done. We please ask that you would abstain from smoking in your home while we are there. Please grant us understanding if we need to open windows while we are working making sure of course to close and lock them before leaving.
- Black mold or extensive mildew. Mold and mildew contain spores which can release into the air and enter into the body through the lungs, whereas it can cause adverse health effects.
- Homes which contain dangerous, illegal or blatantly offensive substances left out in the open
